Review of I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007) by Erik G — 25 Jan 2012
Two straight guys attending this wedding just to receive domestic partner benefits exchanged vows with an "I do", so I now review 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry'. Pretending to be a gay couple, they started living together and then get married.
But now Chuck and Larry have to deal with various issues once they feigned homosexuality. It's fun that this movie mentions homosexuality through comedy - in a positive light, of course - just as 'Brokeback Mountain' did for drama.
Good to have a number of references to the gay culture as I find them perfect for the film's plot. And most importantly, in the tradition of other Adam Sandler comedies, it's a real funny title and it never offends.
