Review of I Melt with You (2011) by Andy S — 25 Jan 2012
What a despicable, broken, lost and dangerous film. This is mid-life crisis gone to the debaucherous ends, wrapping up in complete devestation. Suicide pacts are NOT cool and should never be glamoured up as to seem appealing and courageous.
I have really loved Mark Pellington's work in the past, but this trash just breaks my heart. I see no benefit to anyone ever seeing this film other to be depressed and lose hope. This film is the exact opposite of what life should be.
I understand that there is maybe a glimmer at the end that suggests to "remember" your youth maybe.. but it's too little too late and cannot hold up the 2 hours of hopelessness that come before it.
This film goes on my HATE list. .
