In my mind, THIS is the ultimate romantic comedy. Ably acted by a cast that is clearly having a ball and hiding an undercurrent of raw emotion, I Love You Phillip Morris is not only one of Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor's best performances ever, but a conformation to me that romantic comedies need not always be cliche or even between men and women.
A brave move for everyone involved, especially Carrey. Love is blind, if a little inconsistent.
