The movie switches tones between rom-com and drama very badly. A big reason for that is every character is a stereotype. The gays are a redneck's nightmare. The Christians are straight out of a Bill Maher monologue.
The business men are replicas of the Bush cabinet. So when they switch to drama where you actually are required to care about the characters its a joke. Carrey and McGregor are great, they actually have legit chemistry.
The more I think about this movie the worse it gets.
