Review of I Love You Phillip Morris (2010) by Dave S — 15 May 2014

So I am still not sure what the hell this was. It started as a comedy an things were awesome. Then, right about when Phillip Morris gets out o jail for the first time, shit got really confusing. Ben Kenobi's performance at that point was hilarious, then it turned ridiculous and by then end of the movie was somewhat striking.

Jim Carrey was on the way for one of its funniest characters but then it turned sad, then it turned somewhat striking. The movie goes from uber funny to con to Brokeback to Philadelphia to blow... It is enjoyable but it feels like you are eating a chilli-dog topped with chocolate sorbet and lemon juice.
