Review of I Love You, Man (2009) by Kyle J — 28 Jul 2011
It's embarrassing in a lot of ways but not as bad as Semi Pro. The story (a guy who is about to get married, who has no friends, sets out to find men and hang out with them, even though most of them think he's gay) is the worst part about it.
The comedy is bland and honestly fails to impress anyone here. Acting is aqkward and feels out of place between everyone involved with this movie. The story contradicts itself in the movie a few times.
What I mean by that is that Paul Rudd's wife makes him go find friends, but when he meets Jason Segel they spend too much time together and she doesn't like it. WTF?? I am mad at myself for taking 2 years to finally watch this movie cause in all fairness it looked kinda good.
But all that was waiting at the end of this rainbow was a pile of shit. Seriously. Don't bother with this one. You'll find yourself being bored. A lot.
