Review of I Love You, Man (2009) by Jonny C — 09 Jan 2012
Easily the funniest film out so far this year, "i love you, man" is a light-hearted account of male friendships and male bonding. paul rudd plays peter, a recently-engaged man who realizes that he has no male buddies.
in an effort to quickly find a best friend to be his best man, peter meets sydney (jason segal) and suddenly a whole new world of "maleness" becomes available to peter for the first time. unfortunately, peter's growing bond with sydney causes a rift between he and his fiance, Zooey (rashida jones), and peter is forced to choose between the woman he loves and the bro he cares for.
there are many great laughs throughout this film while paul rudd and jason segal play off of each other very well. great scene involving lou ferrigno...
