Review of I Love You, Man (2009) by Kevin S — 27 Aug 2013
Peter is a successful real estate agent who is about to get married. He hears his fiancà (C)e talking to her friends about him not having any and he needs a best man for the wedding so he goes on friend finder and goes on what he calls " man dates".
After many failed attempts he runs into Sidney at one of his open houses. They automatically hit it off and go hang out. But while he is out with Sidney he is missing out time with his fiancà (C)e and problems start to erupt.
This is a good inventive attempt at comedy and it I thought was very successful. There were times were you will Laugh out loud. And there are times were it goes a little overboard but it was pretty funny the whole way through.
There were funny scenes were you weren't expecting it they were funny the most. It was cool to see Jane curtain and Lou forrigno. I also thought it was very cool that the director was a huge fan of the band rush when he was young and included them in the movie so you get to see them perform which was I plus for me.
Seeing them was very cool. I love you, man is a very enjoyable super funny comedy that if you have not seen I would say its worth the watch.
