Review of I Love You, Man (2009) by Danc — 11 Aug 2009
Very funny while also being warm and heartfelt, but never saccharine. Unlike many contemporary comedies, it doesn't despise its characters or revel in being cruel to them. Instead, it lets the story unfold with a lot of laughs and some real insights into the male psyche.
It may not be deeply profound, but it's an extremely enjoyable and engaging comedy, done in a first-rate way.
