I was stunned to learn that "Beth Cooper" was adapted by former "Simpsons" writer Larry Doyle from his young-adult novel and directed by "Harry Potter" helmer Chris Columbus.
Rarely have two seasoned Hollywood professionals produced something so painfully, amateurishly, relentlessly unfunny.
