Review of I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009) by Sarah G — 31 Jan 2010
Overall, the premise for the film was good...it went along w/ my whole "dorks rock" belief. However, there was a lot of cheese and nonsense and several scenes I just ended up fast forwarding through.
The dialogue wasn't clever or witty...and was rather terrible actually...Quite frankly, it was really only the quiet scenes between Hayden Panettiere and Paul Rust's characters that made the movie not a complete waste of time.
In particular, at the end, you felt the heart behind the scene; the said "heart" that I sensed from the previews that made me want to see it in the first place.
