Review of I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009) by Carlo B — 20 Feb 2010
From the trailer...this movie at least looked funny; unfortunately it's Hurricane Katrina of poor acting, outrageously bad dialogue, a nonsensical plot, a non-sympathetic and pitiful protagonist, a embarrassing-to-watch gay best friend, and with no actual ending.
The premise of the movie had potential, but I don't know who wrote/directed this movie...but it was executed in the poorest of fashions. The first 5 minutes are painful to watch/listen to.....so if you feel the urge to turn it off, just do it because it reallly doesnt get much better.
It gets 2 stars because Beth ends the movie with a convincing look that I didn't see the entire movie and partially believed her character. lol.
