Unfunny, idiotic and inane, and that only begins to describe I Love You, Beth Cooper. So it's graduation. Our main character, Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) is valedictorian decides to go for it, and with his graduation speech, he tells his dream girl (who he has never talked to before) that he loves her.

She is surprised and embarrassed, but after that graduation is finished, she does agree to come to his sparsely attended celebration party... only it ends up getting crashed by her psychotic, coked up marine ex-boyfriend, and then the two of them and their gang of friends get into antics that only high schoolers can get into.

I usually try to keep these reviews as clean as possible, but the lead character is, and there really is no other way to put this, the biggest pussy I've ever seen as a leading role. He is impossible to root for because he because he is so whiny and annoying and just needs to grow a pair.

The one and only good thing I can say is that the girl who plays Beth Cooper, Hayden Panettiere, looks pretty good, granted that is just me trying to find something good to say about it. It is unfunny, and I mean UNFUNNY.

I don't think you realize how offensive this is. There are cow poop jokes, two girls licking a hostess snackcake, and the sticking of tampons up the nose. I got what the message they were trying to give at the end, but leading up to it is so poorly handled with the aforementioned unfunny gags and bad writing, that I just didn't care.

I Love You, Beth Cooper is one ineptly made movie with no real sense of how to tell a joke.
