Review of I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009) by Timothy W — 25 Sep 2010
I personally feel that this is a pretty bad movie, generally, but a few scenes within it seem to stand out, such as the scene on the lake where Denis talks to Beth about her life becoming better than she predicted it would be.
Along that same line, this movie, though it is meant to be a comedy, seems to me to be more of a crude version of an ultimate love story; one that teaches the real value of people, wherever they may be within the realms of social status.
People are people, and they don't have to behave like idiots in order to be loved. People are people, and they shouldn't have to be popular and good looking in order to be loved.
