Review of I Love You, Alice B. Toklas! (1968) by Jennifer M — 03 Apr 2012
A very underrated Peter Sellers film. On the surface, I Love You, Alice. B Toklas! makes fun of flower power culture, but if you look closely, you'll see that the film is equally making fun of material mainstream culture too.
Jo Van Fleet, as the Jewish mother of Peter Seller's character, steals the movie. My favorite scene involves his mother and father and Alice B. Toklas brownies.
