Review of I Know Who Killed Me (2007) by Dan K — 29 Sep 2008
Possibly the worst film choice Lindsay could have made. Who was the bastard that tricked her into thinking this movie would put her in contention for an Oscar? That guy needs to be shot! Seriously, at the time this movie came out, I remember her saying how she was so proud of this film and that it was her most serious film to date.
What the HELL?!? Yeah, I know who killed me too - boredom! The script was horrendous, and it felt like it was never going to end. So much time was spent showing Dakota/Aubrey/whoever in slow-motion strip teases, that by the time the story line actually surfaced, I was about ready to cut MY leg off.
The violence was totally abhorrent, and I didn't understand the blue motif used throughout the film at all. Looking on the bright side, though: this is probably the lowest of career lows for Lindsay, so things can only get better from here (Labor Pains looks good).
