Review of I Know Who Killed Me (2007) by Karungari G — 10 Jan 2011
I watched this film just with a little prejudice because of the story and I didn't know it won 8 (what the hell 8 it's nearly a full stock of them) Razzie Awards! Eight! I'm going to enumerate some of them: Worst Actress (twice for Lindsay Lohan), Worst Director (Chris Sivertson), Worst Screenplay (Jeff Hammond) and Worst Screen Couple (Lohan and Lohan again). Just to humiliate the film even more, the Golden Raspberries Award Foundation (the foundation that assigns the razzies) created a new categorie: Worst Excuse for a Horror Film, that obviously was won by I know who killed me. The only "price" unwon for this film was the one for Worst Supporting Actress (Julia Ormond).
So, after such an amazing campaign, my opinion of this film should be, at least, not good. Anyway, I give it a 6 because in the end was as bad as other movies I've watched (and much better than others).
Nice use of the colours, story a bit different from the usual and abused horror/thriller schemes, some gruesome scenes. Not so bad in my opinion.
Ah, and the killer is completely undetectable until the last 5 minutes or so, something really difficoult to find in all the other films of this kind.
