This movie has always impressed me -- and not just as a horror movie, either. There's something about it that seems so real, despite its silly premise. I've never been so scared in a theater (I even saw it twice!).
Also, the chase scene in this film, with Helen and the Fisherman, is one of the best chase scenes ever in a horror film.
See the sequel, but avoid that third piece of shit.
