Like most Horror movie intelligentia, those who called this film "routine slasher" CLEARLY missed the point-- OF COURSE IT IS! That was the beauty of it, the revival of the Dead Teenager Movie-- unheard of during the late 80s, early 90s.
This movie is GREAT! The sequal is GREAT! Even the direct-to-video third is GREAT! (Ok maybe just good...).
