I Know What You Did Last Summer is just a good movie, I didn't had an amazing time watching it, but it was mysterious, wich made it entertaining, but I can't really consider this movie a great movie because it's not totally original, I mean, it has a great cast, it's entertaining and all, but, even though the script is okay, its concept kind of follows Scream, wich was made a year before this one. Sow, you can watch this one if you want, you won't have a bad time or a great time, just an okay time, you'll enjoy the fine teen perfomances and even though you'll keep reminding about the fact that this movie has a lot of similliarties to Scream, just go with it, you're actually enjoy it and be entertained. Overall, I Know What You Did Last Summer is just a forgettable horror movie that is not too scary, I liked it, but there's still many flaws in it, it's really just those kinds of forgettable movies that you're able to watch at any time with anyone, you can even watch it alone at dark, for one simple reason, I'm sure you won't be scared. But stil, despite all of its problems, I liked it and you'll certainly have a good time watching it. Good movie.

Jim Gillespie is the guy that directed this movie, he just did a reasonable directing, he did a good job with the characters and some other stuff, but he's no Craven. Jennifer Love Hewitt takes the lead role, she was okay, I enjoyed the character that she played and she played it well, I don't consider her an amazing actress, but she had a very reasonable perfomance here, she was good here, Jennifer is known from Ghost Whisperer, Can't Hardly Wait and some other movies. Sarah Michelle Gellar was just okay here, not bad for a teen perfomance, Sarah is known from Cruel Intentions, Scooby-Doo, The Grudge, The Grudge 2 and some other movies. Anne Heche was not good here, at least from my point of view, I was just not able to like her peromance, Anne is known from Wag the Dog, Six Days Seven Nights, Volcano and some other movies. Ryan Phillippe was okay here, I think he did a good job with his perfomance, Ryan is known from Flags Our Fathers, Cruel Intentions, The Lincon Lawyer and some other movies. Freddie Prinze Jr. was okay here, that's all, Freddie is known from Scooby-Doo, She's All That and some other movies. Sow, as you can see, this movie has a great cast and most of the perfomances were really good considering that those actors were less than 25 back then. Great cast.

Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt), Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Barry (Ryan Phillippe) and Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr.) is a group friends that during a summer ran over a stranger and then, they decide to dump the body in the sea. They decide to never talk about it again. One your later they recieve a letter that says "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and later, a guy with a hat that covers his face, starts try to kill the group of friends but none of them knows who could possibly that man. If you're going to bury the truth, make sure it stays buried.(What I thought about the plot) Well, what can I say? I actually thought that the part of the plot that they ran over a man and then decide to keep a secret but later a guy shows up that knows what happened and tries to kill them all was pretty smart, I found it very interesting but, the problem is that the guy who wrote this movie, who was the guy that also wrote Scream, taked a lot of things from Scream, the fact that they wanted to know who was the killer and that the killer just didn't stop appiering left me with doubts about the originality of this movie's plot. But still, half of it was amazing, it just didn't work so well in this movie probably because the other half wasn't that amazing, but still, I really liked the plot. Great plot.

Soundtrack, well, I don't remember any themes or something, but that's okay, they didn't need a soundtrack for this movie.

Besides all that, I am now going to tell you what I really thought about this movie. First of all, I considered I Know What You Did Last Summer a good movie but the thing is, for you to have a good time watching it, you just have to forget the fact kind of copies Scream and then what do you get? Entertainment. I think this movie just deserves the term "okay". Many people didn't like it and many did and I'm one of those persons, I think it's far away to get the popularity of other horror movies and it's not just miles and miles away from being so good as the horror masterpiece Scream and some other horror masterpieces but still, I found it acceptable and even if it's slow and boring at some parts, they always kind of wake you up with a thing that will leave you entertained again. Overall, I Know What You Did Last Summer is not for everyone, but I do recommend it, it has a great cast, a great plot and a good dose of entertainment. Even though it's classified as a horror movie and I didn't got scared at all, I can still consider I Know What You Did Last Summer a good horror film. I Know What You Did Last Summer: 6.0/10. Good.

Good movie. Recommended movie. Grade: C.
