I think the initial idea of the movie is good, and generally speaking it is well-made really.
Ofcourse, this is not a top-class movie, the acting....the conversation....the script....is pretty American high-school style....which translate to ~stupid~....
Sarah Michelle Gellar obviously only played as a supporting character in the movie if you compare her role with Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Anyway, JLH's appearance in the movie doesnt look so JLH....
