David O. Russell is a true original in an era with very few. This movie is a comedy about pretensions that defies desciption. As much as I love Naomi Watts, Wahlberg is the highlight of the great cast.
He plays Tommy Corn, an angry, depressed, but almost childlike firefighter going through a crippling exitensial crisis. It stands alongside Boogie Nights and The Departed as a reminder of how great an actor he can be.
