Kinda funny, no doubt that the book is better but that is just because it doesn't have to have a coherent plotline, and instead can just be a collection of random stories. As for the movie, some of the humor missed or consisted of old jokes, but some was good and made me laugh.
It coulda been written and acted better but I didn't have high hopes for it to begin with, worthy of a rental but not a full price ticket.
