Review of I Hate Valentine's Day (2009) by Kami B — 27 May 2010
Vardalos needs to do a film that has a good screenplay. The film feels like a flat sitcom. On the positive, Vardalos and Corbett shine in the film and have a great on screen chemistry. The film needed a rewrite.
I thought this was better than Connie and Carla. However, I thought My Life In Ruins was a little better than this film. Despite all of these misfires, I still believe Vardalos will do a film as good as My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
The big question is, when will that happen.
