Review of I, Frankenstein (2014) by Arthur V — 29 Apr 2014
Correct title: I, Suck. The film is an uninteresting bore that never answers any questions (like why exactly humans haven't noticed the on-going battle between the gargoyles and demons, when they're clearly destroying buildings that are tangible to humans) and doesn't care.
Aaron Eckhart is dull as "Frankenstein's Monster" not "Frankenstein" like the ever-persisting misconception and it was a real missed opportunity to have fun with the fact that the character can come apart if he so wished.
Everything else is excruciatingly lame and I found myself facepalming throughout the entire thing. There are a few cool moments with the heavily cgi battles, but wow this is a stinker, and doesn't even cross the 90 minute mark!
