Despite the tremendous efforts of Aaron Eckhart the 2013 classic monster-adventure-fantasy can not be taken as seriously as it wants to be. I, Frankenstein fails in delivering an impact to the viewer despite the adrenaline rising kind of plot it has.
In the course of its ninety minute run time, I, Frankenstein mostly relies on its somewhat symbolic CGI action sequences that in the same time only contribute to the movie's downfall.
