The trailers gave this movie more credit than it was due.
A hodgepodge of plot elements really filled this film with a lot of characters with no clear motivation or reason why we should care about them.
I almost feel that the demon/gargoyle war would have been a much more interesting movie than adding in a weak trope like Frankenstein's monster.
