Review of I, Frankenstein (2014) by Nicholas H — 15 Aug 2014
The script is undeniably sloppy, the other characters that are not the main leads are bored to death, and the character development is tossed aside in favor of mediocre demon fights with mediocre CGI, but if you're an action-adventure fantasy fanboy like me that knows the film has these problems, yet you still wan't to show some human decency for your dad or brother that may like this, you'll love the soundtrack, dig Eckhart's performance as well as Nighy's over-the-top performance, and probably memorize the lines.
Like JeremyJahns on YouTube said, guilty pleasures have a place among us in the cinematic world, and this is no exception.
