Review of I Feel Pretty (2018) by Matthew L — 18 Apr 2018

There's not a lot that needs to be said about I Feel Pretty. It pretty much checks all the necessary boxes and then it's over. It's pretty contrived and I don't think I recognized a single original idea in it, but as a comedy that hangs everything on Amy Schumer, she mostly redeems it.

I enjoyed the movie and if you really like Amy Schumer it should be the diversion you're looking for. She buys the concept even if the filmmakers never do. Pretty raunchy for the record!
