Review of I Drink Your Blood (1971) by Darrin C — 17 Aug 2014
A magnificently ferocious bit of exploitation gold. It's limited by an obviously low budget, but it really manages to transform those limits into a kind of advantage ... the raw, raggedness of it gives it a kind of documentary feel that gives the cheap effects an oddly realistic feel.
The obviously fake severed head carted around during the climax never feels obviously fake.
