Review of I Don't Know How She Does It (2011) by Debra V — 19 Sep 2011
I went into this movie expecting absolutely nothing, and aside from the company, that is exactly what I got. That said, Sarah Jessica Parker serves her purpose once again: providing mindless entertainment to those who are to spend the, in my case, $27 to see her movies.
From what I saw of the movie, it was basically sex and the city sans the ugly red head and gross blonde woman. Sure, the husband was handsome, but that was to be expected. And Olivia Munn was in this? That is a detail I usually would have picked up on had I not been with a girl 10 times more beautiful than Olivia. Perhaps if my attention was not diverted to the seat next to me every few minutes, not to mention the pressure being put on my waist, this review may be more reflective.
But who am I kidding? Why waste time on a proper review when it is hard to even call this a proper movie. The ending was cute though, and clique, and made the girls and myself go 'awww.' But then again, I love cliches.
I give IDKHSDI three stars purely because of my company and not the movie itself. A few weeks from now, the movie's details will be a figment of my imagination, but I will be able to tell you what I did during the whole movie. That, my friends, is well deserving of three stars!
