Review of I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017) by Bill T — 05 Mar 2017
Wild and quirky, this movie, all about how one woman just wants to make things morally right when someone breaks into her house, sure leads us on a particularily strange adventure as time goes on. At first it's almost like a kitchen sink, what-are-we-doing-here type of drama, but then it finds its footing fast, and it becomes a hoot.
I am unfamiliar with Melanie Lynskey's work, but she puts in a great performance, full of pathos, determination, and hilarity. Her neighbour is played by Elijah Wood, who's survivalist/assassin in training is awesome.
