The dialogue in I Don't Feel At Home in This World Anymore is terrific. The main character is stripped down to her basic elements and then forced to challenge herself incrementally until the final dynamic conclusion.
The writing is interesting. It's full of surprises small and large. Just a great mixture of honesty, humor, and intensity. It's a great balance without losing sight of it's central theme: courage against a tidal wave.
Reviewers may want to dismiss it as the old "I'm not going to take it anymore" concept, but I found it has a lot more to say than that.
