Review of I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017) by Bill S — 07 Apr 2017
I loved everything about this movie. Melanie Lynskey and Elijah Wood were fantastic. Something about the way this movie played awkward silences and poor attempts at articulation brought about by social anxiety really impressed me.
I guess it was how well it was executed and the way it elevated character interactions to hyper-real levels. The lack of exposition dialogue, the pacing, the fucking beautiful shots; everything about this movie was just god damn impressive.
I highly recommend seeing it whenever you have the time because it's definitely a must-see. (also, as you most likely already know since this information is available on the poster, this movie is currently streaming on Netflix as of 2/24/2017).
