The rating would have been zero if not for Lynskey's performance. An accomplished actress not in the Barbie Doll mold, she brings genuine and believable weight to a role in an otherwise ridiculous movie.
Flashes of wit and cleverness cannot exhume the plot or paper cutout characters.
