It's a bit heavy handed in places and some of the depictions feel like caricatures. Overall though, Loach does a good job of displaying the absolute misery the conservative government inflicts on honest people, as they continue to implement polices that increase the wealth gap and show contempt for citizens at the bottom end of the scale.
