Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd are very funny, and complemented well by many familiar faces, including an obviously talented pre-Atonement Saoirse Ronan. But an all-star cast wasn't enough to carry this unfocused opinion piece to the cinemas, and it's easy to see why.
