Review of I Could Never Be Your Woman (2007) by Dave S — 21 Oct 2010
Weirdly preachy - full of scenes of people having open and earnest dialogue about feminism, aging, body image, the fakery of Hollywood, and more. If you can overlook the overscripting (and Paul Rudd's overacting) it's still pretty funny.
Considering how stale the romcom genre has gotten, it's better to have a movie be about too many things instead of being about nothing.
