Review of I Could Never Be Your Woman (2007) by Soledad C — 24 Aug 2008
This was one of those movies where all the good bits were shown in the preview and so there was no real point in watching it in it's entirety. I wanted to love it, being a huge Amy Heckerling fan, but I just couldn't get into it.
Paul Rudd was not even close to his funniest, and Tracey Ullman's Mother Nature character started off with promise, but then became really irriating. Michelle Pfeiffer didn't do enough with her role, there was no comedy to it.
The film's script just wasn't good enough, but I did enjoy the cameos from all the characters in past Heckerling films, particularly Clueless. So I wouldn't bother with this movie unless you're really pressed for something to watch.
