Review of I Confess (1953) by Victor L — 22 Mar 2008
:rotten: I Confess I didn't like this film because it is uninvolving, weak, predictable because it failed at the begining when the murderer confessed the crime, it should have been better if nobody had known that part.
The performances are in a very low level, it is the first time I think Anne Baxter was unconvincing, Montgomery Clift was desperately foolish and weak, Karl Malden was fine but I've seen him doing better movies.
Alfred Hitchcock's most forgotten films and believe me, there's a valid reason to remain on that status..
