Review of I Confess (1953) by Danny C — 02 Feb 2009
Minor Hitchcock. Yes, everyone is confessing, and yes, there's an interesting examination of the outward face versus the inward life. However, the Anne Baxter confession mid-film stops everything dead in its tracks.
Academically there's some good material here, but dramatically, it's not enough.
