The palable of the prodigal son told in a sick and twisted way, a wild mess of e plot line accompanied with lots of uncessary violence, characters with very little backstory, Radiohead, Explosions in the Sky.
.. and a "core" that falls apart as soon as any thought is put into it. Not exactly what you expect from a guy like Tran Anh Hung. Two years of waiting to be this severely disappointed, what a bummer.
