Review of I Capture the Castle (2003) by Louise V — 21 Jul 2004

I CAPTURE THE CASTLE: There is something wrong about this movie, the feel of it. I mean, there is so much to not care about with such dumb characters and a lame story mixed with a good script and decent acting to make a mediocre indie. There is one thing I got pretty pissed at. She talk so much about her freaking sister Rose as if shes her girlfriend. Heck I know more about Rose than the other characters.

LEGALLY BLONDE 2: The first one was crap, the second is not only funnier but sillier and funner too. I liked this more than half of the movies I saw in 2003 and I am saying this without fear. Many people may hate Legally Blonde 2, but I still enjoyed no matter what anybody says about it.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: Altough I like Pirates, I didn't love it like most moviegoers. I found nothing more than an entertaining thrill ride. I didn't really think that Johnny Depp was the "best performance" in the movie. Altough I liked him in the movie I think Geoffrey Rush did a far better job than Depp. Pirates is a good summer adventure with all of the stuff a blockbuster needs, but that dosen't mean it's perfect.

TERMINATOR 3: As a fan of the Terminator movies, I must say I was dissapointed by this 3rd installment. Altough I approve of it, I do not think it's good. It's far from good. But it isn't bad. Arnold does some fun and the movie is funny but instead of saying "Ill be back", he says "Im back". Great way to ruin the expectations.
