Review of I Capture the Castle (2003) by Rose K — 19 Feb 2007
I was initially attracted to this movie because it contains some up and coming actors who I'm fascinated by but don't see that often- Romola Garai, Rose Byrne and Bill Nighy. Together, they make a glorious troupe of eccentrics.
This is a whimsical coming of age film (based on one of my favourite novels) about 17 year old Cassandra Mortmain who lives in a crumbling castle in the English countryside with her exasperating, funny family.
