Based on one of my all-time favorite books by the writer of 101 Dalmations, Dodie Smith (read it!). This is a perfect movie to buy & have on the shelf for a cold winter's night when your distractions (otherwise known as husband, significant other, children) are out of the house & you can have a nice cuppa & enjoy your Anglophilia in private.
Love the magic interwoven into the plot (all greate movies have this). I think the R rating is for nudity but I've seen (& heard) much worse in PG-13 movies lately.
