Confession. Long ago, I had a crush. She sang and was cute. Over the years her very public life both inspired and saddened me. Last Fall I was invited to preview a movie about a song. I thought, there is no way a song can carry a full-length movie. I was wrong.

Amy Grant played a fascinating part in the early release of the song - I Can Only Imagine. (Though the movie takes liberties with actual events) I found the backstory of this questioning song painful, hopeful, hard and entertaining.
