Review of I Can Only Imagine (2018) by Mike E — 17 Apr 2018
Very inspirational and uplifting story line of a son overcoming the deep emotional scars created by an abusive/demeaning father and abandoning mother. I thought Dennis Quaid played a compelling role of what Van Gogh would have been as a father.
It is sublime to consider his father, this "monster" that haunted him up until his death, had finally reconciled his life when faced, all alone, with uncurable cancer and that this unrelenting, ungodly man, his father, would now stand before the presence of his God.
Yes, I too can only imagine!
