Review of I Can Do Bad All By Myself (2009) by Brenda R — 16 Jan 2010
The most profound movie in the Madea series. Although there is only a small amount of screen time for Madea, the story itself (about a woman who lost her way), brilliant songs, amazing performances, and an actually great story, make it not matter much.
... Taraji Henson's performance is brilliance! Between this, Madea Goes to Jail (a critical flop but a commercial success - it's his highest-grossing film as of this writing), Precious (being an executive producer), and a cameo in Star Trek, Tyler Perry's had a good year.
