This review is for the movie, not the play...
This is vintage Tyler Perry doing what he does best... well put together emotional family dramas with excellent soundtracks! I can do bad all by myself has a uplifting message although the title is sorta snoody. The movie is well scripted, the message is strong, and the love that blossoms in this film is breath taking. The music was great and there were people of all color, which was good because its been a long time coming for Tyler to be more inclusive of other races in his movies.
