Not among the best Tyler Perry films I have seen. The story was too much a cliché and the endless musical numbers made me wonder whether I was watching the Dreamgirls. Only the Bollywood-inspired dance numbers were missing (what a perfect ending that would have been, the wedding scene turning into a choreographed dance scene).
. Also the cast seemed to prefer making faces to acting. Better film next time!
